Privacy Policy

Widgetik for iPhone, iPad and Android. Last updated October 7, 2026.

Widgetik has no accounts and no Widgetik server. Your widgets, habits, health data, calendar events and photos stay on your device, and we never receive them. The free version shows ads from Google AdMob, which collects some device and usage data, as described below. Premium removes the ads.

Who we are

Widgetik is made by Andrei Rusti, an independent developer ("we"). This policy covers Widgetik for iPhone and iPad on the App Store, and Widgetik for Android on Google Play (com.game.widgetik). Where the two apps differ, the difference is marked iPhone & iPad or Android.

What stays on your device

Everything you set up in Widgetik is stored in the app's private storage on your device: themes, colors and fonts; habits and streaks; water, mindfulness and focus history; checklists, countdowns and birthdays; World Clock cities; your aquarium and zen garden; and the photos you pick for the Photo widget. None of it is sent to us. On iPhone and iPad, it is shared only between the app and its own widgets.

Like other app data, it can be included in your device backups if you use them: iCloud Backup or a computer backup iPhone & iPad, or your Google account backup Android. Deleting the app deletes its data from your device.

Health data

Health features are optional and work only with your permission.

iPhone & iPad Widgetik reads your step count from Apple Health to show your steps in Step Counter and other widgets. If you turn on Apple Health for Hydration, it saves the water you log in Widgetik to Apple Health. It doesn't read any other health data.

Android Widgetik reads your step totals from Health Connect, including past and background data if you allow it, for Step Counter, Daily Dashboard and step-based Progress widgets. It writes the water you log in Widgetik to Health Connect. It doesn't read water logged by other apps, and it doesn't write steps.

Health data stays on your device. It is never sent to us, never used for advertising, and never sold. You can change these permissions at any time in the Health app or in Health Connect. Water already saved to Apple Health or Health Connect stays there until you delete it in those apps.

Calendar

If you use Agenda, or the Calendar and Week Strip widgets Android, Widgetik asks to read your calendar events. Event titles, times and locations are read on your device to show them in your widgets. They are never uploaded or shared.

Photos and camera

For the Photo widget, you choose pictures in the system photo picker, and Widgetik receives only the photos you pick. It keeps a copy sized for the widget on your device. It can't browse the rest of your photo library.

iPhone & iPad Checklist can turn a photo of a list into tasks. If you use it, the photo you take or pick is read on your device with Apple's text recognition. Only the tasks you choose are saved, and the photo isn't kept.

Ads in the free version

The free version shows ads from Google AdMob. To show, measure and protect ads, Google and its partners may collect:

Google handles this data under its own policies: the Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

Where the law requires consent, such as in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, Widgetik asks for it with Google's consent message before ads are personalized. You can change your choice at any time from Privacy options in the app.

iPhone & iPad Widgetik asks for permission through App Tracking Transparency before ads can use your device's advertising identifier. If you don't allow it, you may still see ads, but they won't use the identifier to track you. You can change this in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.

Android You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device's Google or privacy settings.

With Premium, Widgetik stops showing ads.

Purchases

Widgetik Premium (called Widgetik PRO on Android) is a one-time purchase made through the App Store or Google Play. Apple or Google handles the payment. We never see your payment details; the app learns only whether Premium is active, so it can unlock it and restore it on your other devices.

Analytics and crash reports

Widgetik has no analytics or crash-reporting tools of its own. If you choose to share diagnostics with Apple or Google in your device settings, they may share crash reports and app usage statistics with us. They collect these, not the app, and you can turn them off in your device settings.

Sharing

We don't sell your personal information. Data leaves your device only in these cases:

Keeping and deleting your data

Your data stays on your device until you delete it in the app, clear the app's storage (on Android: Settings > Apps > Widgetik > Storage > Clear storage) or delete the app. Because we don't keep your data on a server, there's nothing for us to look up, export or delete. Data collected by Google or Apple is kept under their own policies, and you can manage it with their tools.

Your choices

Children

Widgetik is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
